Effective date: September 17, 2026
Script Citation Mapper may access content in the Google Doc in which the add-on is used, source URLs, mapping information, and public webpages supplied by the user for evidence verification.
The information is used only to provide citation mapping, evidence verification, link generation, and the add-on interface inside Google Docs.
Script Citation Mapper does not intentionally store Google Doc content or citation mappings in a separate developer-operated database and does not sell user data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
When evidence verification is requested, a standard web request may be sent to the source URL supplied by the user.
Users control the content in their Google Docs and may uninstall the add-on at any time.
This policy may be updated if functionality or data practices change.
